THREE SIZES STANDARD HANDLE WITH RIVET

The VAY (just like the VAY PREMIUM) comes with a blade shape that is very beautiful yet rather unusual in Australia. Its swing makes it ideal for chopping herbs and spices, yet it is a fantastic allrounder for filleting and slicing all your meats, as well as chopping leafy vegetables, slicing carrots, pumpkin, cabbages etc, cheeses and of course cutting fruits. The small SAIL is a great addition on any tapas board. Its pointy tip is excellent for finer cuts. This is also popular choice for hunters for skinning animals. Also available as thick blade, see ‘Premium Sail’.

VAY is available in versions with 1mm thin semi-polished blades with thinner handle (regular), or the 2mm thick fully polished blades with the round thicker handle (premium version).

On our own behalf: The knives are made entirely by hand by small family businesses in Vietnam. A comparison with the quality of CNC-lasered and sharpened mass-produced goods is unnecessary.  Each handle is carved by hand and the blades are cut out with large tin snips without punching. The knives may have small blemishes. However, these do not reduce their suitability for everyday use and operational strength, but rather enhance their individuality and specialness. Please take this into account when making your purchase decision!
